WHAT THE STORY STACK IS

• Speculative

  All realms of Science Fiction and Fantasy are possible destinations within the Story Stack.

• Adventurous

  The Story Stack is not a place where characters get to sit around, safe from peril. In the Story Stack, characters must move or else perish.

• Compelling

  The world’s best stories exist to do more than entertain. They also exist to teach, inspire, and transform. The stories within the Stack aspire to do the same.

WHAT THE STORY STACK IS NOT

• Non-Fiction

  While this author maintains that works of fiction enable readers to experience Truth in ways that works of fact cannot, the stories, people, places, and events contained within this publication are not real.

• A Personal Blog

  I am an interesting person but, alas, I am real and not a work of art. Therefore, you will not find any stories about me in the Story Stack. If you want to read my personal writings, you may find them here.

• A writer writing about writing

  Other writers have much more to say about the craft than I do. I just have stories to tell.

• Artificial Intelligence

  No story found within the story stack was generated using AI.

Subscription Tiers

Tier 1: Free Subscription

All readers have access to the monthly story published every second Tuesday. Subscribers also receive a monthly newsletter containing updates, story sneak peeks and special offers.

Tier 2: Paid Subscription

Paid subscribers receive the monthly story, newsletter, AND access my serial novel Alo & Wyome (coming February 2026). Paid subscribers may also read archived stories.

Tier 3: Print Partner

ABOUT COREY D. EVANS

I am a handyman and groundskeeper with aspirations of becoming a professional author.​​ I have previously published articles in fitness blogs, contributed to a column in the Gringo Gazette, and edited theological works for Dispensational Publishing House and Trust House Publishers.

When not working or writing, I enjoy adventures with my wife and seven children.

In 2020 I was commissioned to edit Sir Robert Anderson’s classic treatise, The Silence of God, for the 21st century reader.

I have various works of short fiction scheduled for publication through traditional outlets beginning in Spring of 2025.
